Windy and Willy #4

Windy and Willy #4 (On Sale: September 18, 1969) has a cover by Bob Oksner.

This is the final issue of this Dobie Gillis retread. "Historical High Jinks" is drawn by Bob Oksner and is reprinted from Many Loves of Dobie Gillis #17.

Windy and Willy #3

Windy and Willy #3 (On Sale: July 22, 1969) has a very nice cover by Bob Oksner.

We have a feature-length untitled story reprinted from Many Lives of Dobie Gillis #20 and drawn by Bob Oksner. It is partially redrawn and retitled Windy and Willy.

Windy and Willy #2

Windy and Willy #2 (On Sale: May 20, 1969) has a cover by Bob Oksner.

"The Two Astro-Nuts" is of course a reprint from Many Loves of Dobie Gillis #25 by Arnold Drake and Bob Oksner. They have renamed the characters and touched up the artwork to be more modern and to avoid copyright infringement.

Windy and Willy #1

Windy and Willy #1 (On Sale: March 20, 1969) has a cover by Bob Oksner. This is an updated version of the cover to Many Loves of Dobie Gillis #12 from 1962.

We have an untitled Windy and Willy story reprinted from Many Loves of Dobie Gillis #18 and written by either Lawrence Nadle or Bob Oksner and drawn by Bob Oksner. There are updates in the art to the clothing and hairstyles, something done in many of the romance comic reprints and the character names are changed to avoid copyright infringement.

Showcase #81

Showcase #81 (On Sale: January 23, 1969) has a Windy and Willy cover by Bob Oksner and Tex Blaisdell.

"The Haunted Hippie" is by Arnold Drake and Bob Oksner. This story is a partially redrawn Dobie Gillis story reprinted from Many Loves of Dobie Gillis #26. Someone had to think this was a good idea.
