quick (p)review- "CHEW Volume 3: Just Desserts"

I recently put copies of GhettoManga Quarterly in my local comic shop, which allowed me to buy a few things... like Just Desserts, the third volume of the hot Image series CHEW. If you have read the first two volumes of CHEW (or issues 1-15 of the monthly comics) and liked them, then you need not read any further: BUY THIS BOOK NOW! Just Desserts is continuation of the fresh characters and storytelling that you are used to from the award-winning team of John Layman and Rob Guillory.
For the new people, CHEW is the story of Tony Chu, the non-stereotypical Asian-American federal agent with the rare (and stomach-churning) gift of cibopathy. He gets psychic impressions from anything he eats, and uses this power to solve cases that reach dead ends.
here's a quick preview

You will appreciate the character development and plot twists in this book much better if you go back and read Chew Volume 1: Taster's Choice and Chew Volume 2: International Flavor first. Click here to start with book one, or if Amazon offers a good enough deal, go ahead and cop all three! Chances are, you won't be disappointed!

holla!
samax.
